‘Years of Living Dangerously’ wins Emmy Award

The 2014 Emmy Award for 'Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series' has been awarded to ‘The Years of Living Dangerously’, which featured the Katingan Project.

The series highlighted the causes and impacts of climate change around the world, with episodes one and two focusing on deforestation in Indonesia. This featured a visit by Harrison Ford to the Katingan Project’s ecosystem concession area. Project CEO Dharsono Hartono and COO Rezal Kusumaatmadja accompanied the film star in the peat swamps to demonstrate how the initiative seeks to reverse the trends in forest loss in Indonesia.
